Walk into Angela Adams’s ICFF booth and you are surrounded by an organic design environment with a decidedly modern twist. Adams’s new Signature collection Baba Carpet is a formal and elegant addition to her naturalistic design aesthetic, which was nurtured by the years she spent growing up on an island in Maine.

“Baba evokes flowing air and water,” she says. “I actually named it after my husband’s grandmother. She was somewhat Victorian, but she had great style. I think this carpet has a lacy quality, and it can work in a variety of settings.” The carpet is also completely customizable.
