This year we recognize experienced design figures: Makiko Minagawa for her extraordinary textiles; Liam Casey for reinventing manufacturing supply chains; and Nasir and Nargis Kassamali for their unerring eye for fresh talent. We also showcase several young disrupters: Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, the filmmakers behind Living Architectures, whose films look under the skin of buildings; Water Pore Partnership, which could save Las Vegas from drought; and Aggregate, a collective that is literally rewriting architectural history.
