Copenhagen-based Denmark.dk was inspired by old African seats to create the Low system. And it is just that: low to the ground. And laid-back.
“Everyone gets very relaxed sitting on Low,” says Mikael Hoilund, who also designed the environment linking the Danish contingent’s booths at ICFF.
Low’s companion ottoman can also be used as a base for a table. With wide seats, an unusually slender profile, and a backrest that reclines at a particularly inviting angle, Low is perfect for pleasant conversation. The system recently won the award for audience favorite at the Scandinavian Furniture Fair in Copenhagen.
