Designer Adam Simha of MKS studied physics at MIT. His solid but ribbon-like
7-12 lounge chair is named for the degree of tilt to the wide seat pan (seven degrees) and backrest (12 degrees beyond the right angle).
The naturally finished stainless steel 5 Minute chair and nesting end tables are named for the time it took Simha to assemble the prototype. Let’s only hope their lifespan isn’t so brief. Both seats come in lounge or dining heights but the low loungers have an appealing spatial relationship with the floor.
