href=\"https:\/\/metropolismag.com\/viewpoints\/nick-cave-jeanne-gang\/\">Nick Cave<\/a> is among the latest sensations being projected onto the river-facing facade of <a href=\"https:\/\/metropolismag.com\/profiles\/a-plus-i\/\">theMART<\/a> this summer, as part of its <a href=\"https:\/\/metropolismag.com\/projects\/art-on-the-mart\/\">Art on theMART<\/a> series. On view nightly at 9 p.m. through September 7, the site-specific projection (<em>Ba Boom Boom Pa Pop Pop<\/em>) features dancers wearing Cave\u2019s famous \u201cSoundsuits,\u201d costumelike sculptures he\u2019s been making since 1992. The work showcases original footage together with remastered content from an earlier film by Cave titled <em>Drive-By <\/em>(2011). NeoCon registrants can learn more about his provocative art and unique perspective by attending \u201cBetween Art and Design,\u201d a June 13 conversation at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themart.com\/\">theMART<\/a> between Cave and his design partner Bob Faust moderated by IIDA executive vice president and CEO Cheryl Durst.
