Swarovski’s Not Letting the Recession Get It Down

The company’s new line of ready-to-wear jewelry includes six crystal designs by Andree Putman.

The Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED flagship opens in March.

Today, Swarovski gave journalists a sneak peek of its latest New York store, opening next March, which will carry the company’s new line of ready-to-wear (read: relatively affordable) jewelry. (If you can’t wait until March, the online store is already up and running.)

More exciting for design fanatics, however, is Swarovski’s collaboration with the legendary French designer Andrée Putman on the limited-edition Fantastic Flowers collection of six crystal cuts. (Surprisingly, they’re also pretty affordable at $64 to $100 per pendant.) More photos after the jump.
