Xorel Aperture Embroider
Xorel Aperture Embroider reimagines high-performance textiles through a more expressive and materially responsible lens. Constructed with 91% biobased content derived from rapidly renewable plant-based resources, this embroidered Biobased Xorel® textile reduces reliance on fossil fuel-based inputs while maintaining the durability and cleanability required for demanding commercial interiors.
Unlike many performance materials on the market, Xorel Aperture Embroider achieves its performance inherently without the need for added finishes or harmful additives. The material is free of PVC, phthalates, formaldehyde, antimicrobials, halogenated flame retardants, and other Red List-associated chemicals, supporting healthy indoor environments and improved material transparency.
Designed for longevity, Xorel Aperture Embroider exceeds one million double rubs and surpasses Type II wallcovering performance standards, helping extend product lifespan and reduce replacement cycles in high-traffic spaces. It is also bleach cleanable and inherently antimicrobial without applied additives, further minimizing maintenance demands over time.
Xorel Aperture Embroider holds numerous third-party certifications and transparency documents, including Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold, Cradle to Cradle Material Health Platinum, USDA Certified Biobased Product, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, Living Product Certified, Declare, HPD, and an EPD. Together, these attributes reflect Carnegie’s long-standing commitment to creating materials that prioritize both human and environmental health without compromising design or performance.
