Martha Sturdy calls her resin furniture and accessories a cross-pollination. Her work is architectural, she says, but she adds to that an earthiness by using warm colors like amber and marmalade, and playing with texture. “I want things to be sexy and inviting,” Sturdy says. “If it’s too linear it gets so bloody cool that you can’t live with it.” This year she’s using light to warm some pieces up even further.
