Lake Flato, founded by architects David Lake and Ted Flato in 1984, is best known for site-sensitive regional design. Having met in the office of legendary Texas modernist O’Neil Ford, the duo has taken Ford’s deep respect for indigenous architecture and local conditions, from regional player to a national powerhouse.
