One of two inaugural pieces in a series of “living furniture,” Aurora is a collaboration between Orange 22 and Visopia. The glass-topped table sits on a tulip base of chromed or powder-coated steel, and in the vortex of its acrylic center is a series of LEDs.
Rincover and Antonioni created a Macintosh-interface program that allows the table’s LEDs to change color, and makes the object live, breathe-and blush.
