Feria Hábitat València 2025 Exhibits the Best of Spanish Craft and Sustainable Design

Despite a delayed opening, the Valencian community’s annual furniture show returned this year with record numbers.

Spain’s leading design fair, Feria Hábitat València 2025, once again positioned the region as a hub of innovation, material experimentation, and artisanal excellence. Despite reducing the fair by a day, due to severe weather in the area, this year’s edition brought together thousands of brands from Spain and beyond, and exceeded the figures of 40,000 visitors from the previous edition.

This edition also carried a meaningful homage to the devastating DANA storm that ravaged the community just a year prior. Many of the programming and installations recognized the resilience of Valencia’s furniture industry in the face of that adversity, including Raíces, a memorial installation and special exhibit by Héctor Serrano that included a series of 18 vases crafted from wood debris collected in the storm’s aftermath, created to raise funds for the victims of the storm. Local manufacturer, Temasdos, also designed a memorial featuring their ‘DANA’ Sofa, which was presented at last year’s edition of the fair, just before the factory was ravaged by the floods.

Below, METROPOLIS has gathered ten of the show’s standout collections.

Folded by Estudi Manel Molina and Nani Marquina

The Folded collection by Nanimarquina and Estudi Manel Molina challenges the traditional concept of a rug. “With this bench, we wanted to explore new dimensions of the carpet concept, taking it beyond its usual use and giving it a three-dimensional presence in space,” notes Nani Marquina. Handwoven out of 100 percent Afghan wool, the bench is available in three design options: Colors, a version that comes in warm hues like Saffron Red, Caramel, and Greyish Brown; Pattern, with a multicolored geometric surface; or Flowers, featuring hand-embroidered floral texture. The collection reflects the brand’s respect for craftsmanship and its commitment to sustainable materials and responsible production.
