A report from journalist and party-goer, Philip Berger:

I went to what has archly become known as the Anti-NeoCon event. Morlen Sinoway, a furniture designer/dealer and general provocateur, invites furniture makers and other artists to pull their trucks up to the raised sidewalks outside his Fulton Market atelier to display what’s brand new with them, just like the big boys at the Merchandise Mart. The other galleries in the area stay open and it’s pretty festive overall. No sushi, but a lot more relaxed than in the controlled-air environment of the 60654 zipcode [Did you know the Mart had its own zipcode?].
