Lance Hosey, AIA, LEED AP is a Director with William McDonough + Partners. He has been a runner-up in Metropolis magazine’s Next Generation Awards program and featured in Architectural Record’s “Emerging Architect” series. His essays have appeared in publications including The Washington Post, Metropolis, Architectural Record, and Architecture, and he writes the monthly “Ecology” column for Architect magazine. With Kira Gould, he is co-author of Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design (Ecotone Publishing, 2007).

Eric Chan, President of ECCO Design Inc., was recently named one of the 10 most influential designers in the US. Chan is the Founder and Creative Director of ECCO Design, the highly esteemed product design studio based in New York City. Chan formed ECCO Design in 1989 with a mission to bring a meta-culture philosophy to the highest level of consultancy, specializing in product identity and development. ECCO has since worked with companies in major consumer segments and industrial nations including Herman Miller, Virgin, Toyota, LG Electronics and Lenovo. His work has been featured in numerous international publications and in permanent collections of museums worldwide, including the 2001 MOMA show “Workspheres.”

Fiona Cousins, LEED P.E. is a Principal and mechanical engineer in Arup’s New York office with extensive engineering and project management experience on a wide variety of building projects for corporate and institutional clients. A longtime advocate of sustainability and an established expert in the field, she makes significant contributions to Arup’s sustainable design portfolio and applies sustainable principles to her engineering work overall. Cousins led Arup’s recent work on a comprehensive sustainability plan for the New York Power Authority, and also headed schematic and multidisciplinary engineering design development for a 380,000 sf office for BP in Houston.

Pam Light, FIIDA, LEED AP, a Senior Vice President with HOK, is an award-winning interior designer, furniture designer, lecturer, and design advocate. Light’s experience includes space planning and design, strategic planning and programming, and sustainable design. In 2002, she was inducted into the IIDA College of Fellows, the highest honor bestowed by the association and served as their International President for the 2006-07 programming year. A constant advocate for sustainability in interior architecture, she is a member of HOK’s Sustainability Task Force and under her direction, projects such as the Santa Monica City Hall was designed to achieve LEED certification.
