An upcoming event worth your attention, and your precious free time.
Today, the key to a successful, distinctive project is a tight, collaborative bond between engineer and architect. With the growing complexity of projects, a booming crop of dynamic materials, and the constant innovation of computerized tools, this collaboration is practically mandated.
The Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) presents Support and Resist: Structural Engineers and Design Innovation–a panel discussion of prominent engineers hosted by author Nina Rappaport. The panel will focus on the work of engineers who were present and involved at the beginning of a design project and will discuss how engineers can help push and expand the current boundaries of design.
