100th—Birth of Ezra Stoller

One of the great photographers of Modernist architecture, Stoller has made many buildings immortal with his images.

The Italian brand takes a playful view of its anniversary with a collection of tops by Piero Lissoni.

60th—Herman Miller’s Coconut Lounge Chair

George Nelson was aiming for extreme comfort and freedom of movement when he designed this classic chair in 1955.

60th—Fritz Hansen’s Series 7

Possibly the best-selling chair in history, Arne Jacobsen’s seat is now available lacquered in blue with powder-coated legs, and in pink with gold-plated legs.

30th—Fondation Cartier

Diller Scofidio + Renfro uses the foundation’s Jean Nouvel-designed building as the medium for its installation, Musings on a Glass Box.

Two new collections—Studio and Jubilee—mark the textile design studio’s quarter century.
