15 of the Best Product Debuts for Spring 2022

In time for NYCxDESIGN, here’s a sampling of new design products, including some hitting Manhattan showrooms.

New York City’s NYCxDESIGN Festival turns ten, in time for its return to a spring schedule this May. At Metropolis, nostalgia for in-person showroom crawls has turned our thoughts to our local design week’s unique energy. Major tone setters appearing in the city’s showrooms are the product design collaborations on view. French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are linked to several debuts across brands. One of their recent collaborations? A wood-look extension of Pico Bois, a tile collection they initially designed in 2011 for Mutina. Find more launches, including some unveiled during New York’s festival, in this preview.
