On a recent trip to Helsinki, architect Page Goolrick found herself battling the damp cold equipped with little more than a short jacket. So she did what most of us wish we were re-sourceful enough to do, and fashioned her own protective shawl out of a yard of woven cashmere bought at a local fabric store. The chic charcoal gray wrap, now available from Takashimaya, fastens with a discreet magnetic clasp. On her way back home, Goolrick discovered another convenient use for her functional design: airplane blanket.
