Constantin Boym is fond of souvenirs. “In our product-saturated society, there is a great desire for special, uncommon objects of limited availability,” he says. Hence his studio’s Souvenirs for the End of the Century series (1997–2010) and now Souvenirs of Modernism collection, which launched over the summer and is expected to continue until 2020. Its first offering is a pair of vases produced by Gaia & Gino, with overlapping shards of optical crystal inspired by the Cubist paintings of Picasso and Braque.
