An event worth your attention and free time.
Many banks, housing organizations, and advocates are mandating that their affordable housing developments be “green”. But what are current green standards? And how does a housing development get designed to meet the required standards?
GreenHomeNYC presents High Performance Affordable Housing: New Developments. At this panel discussion, developers, bankers, and consultants who have successfully completed high performance green buildings in New York City will share their experiences and stories–what they did, how they did it.
Some of the buildings featured in Wednesday’s presentation use 65% less heating energy per square foot than the typical multifamily building in NYC.
