Having just returned from Sri Lanka, I was interested to read “Containing a Health Crisis in Sri Lanka.”. My main concerns with the project are the suitability of a metal structure in a hot and humid climate (rust and overheating), high cost compared to sourcing local materials, and a highly questionable practice of shipping western waste products to the third world.
This is an interesting approach, but wider social issues need to be considered.
